Our 3 Peaks graded hybrid treks include four nights spent in comfortable chalet accommodation - in Samoëns village - and three nights in mountain huts.

The Grande Ourse is set on a south-facing hillside, nestled in a quiet spot just a 5-minute walk from the centre of Samoëns village.

The five bedrooms can accommodate up to 13 people. Four rooms have en-suite bathrooms with luxury showers or baths, and the fifth room has two sets of bunk beds and a separate bathroom. There is a large cosy open-plan dining and lounge with a fireplace and bar area. The chalet also has a very inviting hot tub on the balcony from where you can enjoy the beautiful views.

Free WiFi internet access is available along with a selection of board games and books.

Although located high up in the mountains (at around 2,000 metres), the mountain huts we use are manned by staff and include bedding as well as a simple but filling evening meal. Breakfast and some ingredients for our packed lunches are also provided, meaning that you only need to carry a good sized day pack with you.

The mountain huts provide a comfortable and convivial means of accessing the core of the mountains, and the wildest part of our region, normally out of reach to all but the hardiest of walkers.
