As with other OutBreak Adventure Holidays, the accommodation we have chosen is authentic to the region and offers a comfortable base from which to explore the Wilder Kaiser mountain range in the Austrian Tyrol.

The base for our Austrian Tyrol walking holidays is Gasthof Griesenau, a traditional family run guest house close to the market town of St. Johann. Griesenau was and still is a family farm, run by the same family for over 200 years. It has 30 beds, generally based on two people sharing and some rooms have en-suite facilities. It also has a garden with a trout lake, which is a great place to relax following the days walk.

These holidays are full board, with a buffet breakfast each day and a three course evening meal of hearty traditional Austrian food on all but one night. There is always a vegetarian option available and post walk snacks are also provided, as are packed lunches on walking days.
