Guided multi-day treks, Austrian Tyrol
These 3 Peaks (
) graded holidays are
designed to be challenging for fit and healthy people, with some mountain walking experience and a
good head for heights.
On the longest day, you can expect to be on the mountain for up to seven hours, with up to 1,000 metres (3,200ft) of vertical ascent. Certain walks involve some scrambling and walking in difficult terrain, including passages equipped with chains and cables.
All meals are provided on the trek. We recommend keeping your rucksack as light as possible, however you will need to bring a sheet or sleeping bag liner and some spare clothes.
Your guide and host for the week is Sally, a Tyrolian qualified walking guide. Sally, originally from Yorkshire, moved to Austria after university, to work as a tour guide and has lived there for over seven years. She speaks fluent German and is married to Andi, an Austrian high mountain guide.
There are a maximum of eight guests on these treks and Sally will accompany you every step of the way, not only to ensure your safety, but also to provide an insight into the local culture and geography.
Vehicle support is also available, if required, although it is generally not necessary on this circular route.
