Samoëns is one of five villages that form the Grand Massif ski area, which offers 265 kilometres of pistes to suit all abilities, as well as excellent terrain for off-piste skiing and boarding.
With a maximum altitude of 2,480 metres the Grand Massif is known for its reliable snow cover, as well as its lack of lift queues. The pistes are suitable for a all levels of skier and boarder from the novice to the expert with ample off-piste skiing also available for the experts.
There is also the the classic, picturesque 14 km Cascades run, which passes the Lac de Gers, a popular place to rest and enjoy a meal, while admiring the stunning scenery.
