On selected weeks of the season during the school holidays, we run multi-activity family adventure holidays which are suitable for families with children aged six and above. They are based in the family-friendly village of Samoëns in the French Alps, in the wide and sunny Haut Giffre valley in the Haute Savoie.

These holidays are designed to be as flexible as you wish and include two days of guided walking, along with a range of other adventurous mountain activities, which you can participate in as and when you choose.

You have the choice of either a fully-catered holiday in one of our comfortable chalets, which includes breakfasts, packed lunches and a three-course evening meal on all but one night, or a self-catered holiday in our spacious, self-contained chalet apartments.

Other activities include mountain biking, white-water rafting, river kayaking, via ferrata, climbing, paragliding, canyoning, pony trekking or a high-wire adventure park. There are also additional facilities in the village which include an outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, crazy golf course and an alpine botanical garden.
Highlights
  • A hassle-free family adventure
  • Stunning scenery and surroundings
  • Learning about mountain life and nature
  • Returning to comfortable accommodation
  • Having all meals taken care of (catered option)

Catered accommodation is in La Maison de Fifine, our historic chalet, which is full of comfort, character and charm. Its rustic feel offers a level of authenticity rarely found in modern chalets. It has six en-suite bedrooms accommodating a maximum of 14 guests.
Self-catered accommodation is in self contained appartments within a beautifully renovated old Savoyard farmhouse in a small hamlet, 15 minutes walk from the village centre. There is a choice of appartments for families of 3 people, 4 to 7 people, or up to 10 people.
