We look after all activity bookings for you and provide transport as required (although many activities are merely a short walk from the chalets). On top of this, you are able to enjoy a family day of guided walking with our knowledgeable local guide.
Shared family activity holidays, French Alps
Samoens, the gem of the Haut Giffre valley, offers a fantastic location to enjoy a huge variety of alpine experiences including white water rafting, mountain biking, climbing, pony trekking, archery, canyoning or a high-wire adventure park. In our stunning chalet, La Grande Ourse, you can share you holiday experience with other like-minded mountain lovers. Our activity holidays are designed with flexibility in mind. We will happily arrange the activities you choose and offer transport where required. With this catered holiday we provide breakfasts, packed lunches and a three-course evening meal on all but one night.

The smaller chalet, La Petite Ourse, is perfect for a family of 4 or more to enjoy the adventurous family activity holidays in our beautiful Haut Giffre valley. With your own exclusive chalet, this option is ideal for families wanting to make the most of their time together. The catered option (minimum 4 people) entitles you to breakfast, packed lunches and dinner on all but one evening. If you prefer the freedom of a self-catered holiday our well equipped kitchen is the perfect place to prepare the fine selection of local specialty foods found in the village.
