About us
OutBreak Adventure is a small, independent company which has been established since 2004, to provide fun and challenging experiences to our guests, who now number many hundreds. We are registered in England, although we have strong links with Scandanavia and guests join us from all all over the world. Our team are also an international bunch, coming from all corners of the UK, France and Austria.
We love sharing our passion for the outdoors and we firmly believe that offering challenging holidays provides a much more memorable experience. However, we recognise 'a challenge' is different for everyone and for that reason we have developed a range of holidays and a grading system, to help you find just the holiday you are looking for.

Steve loves the mountains and the great outdoors. Together with his wife Sam, he runs the Outbreak Adventure holidays in the French Alps. When not found walking, mountain biking, cycling or climbing you'll find him hosting the chalet in Samoëns, cooking and sharing his enthusiasm and passion for the mountains and local area.

Sam is the person you will most likely deal with when booking. In addition to looking after everything you need before you arrive on your adventure, she also hosts the Samoëns holidays, sharing her local knowledge and love of the mountains.

Bruno is the the one Frenchman on the team. He joined OutBreak Adventure for the 2008 season as an apprentice walking guide and he is now a fully qualified International Mountain Leader (Accompagnateur en Montagne). Bruno speaks very good English - with an endearing French accent - and he has picked up an English sense of humor along the way.

Sally and Andi guide our walking holidays and treks in the Tyrol region of Austria. Sally is a Tyrolian qualified walking guide and is originally from Yorkshire, although she has lived in Austria since 2002. She is married to Andi, a native of Austria and an Austrian Mountain Guide. They both live and work in the Austrian Alps (Tyrol) throughout the year.
